Hello, My Name is Dr. Robert Schwartz, DVM. I have been a DVM for 13 years at this clinic! I graduated from MSU. I became a veterinarian because I have always loved and been fascinated with animals. I also lost a pet tragically when I was younger and really wanted to try to help other peoples pets so perhaps that doesn't happen. I love to snuggle my wife and I's 4 cats, Gunther, who is 9 and a rescue from the clinic. Jazmine, who is 6 and also a rescue. Jasper, who is 6 also a rescue from one of the local rescues. And the baby Grayson who is 1 and a rescue from the clinic, along with our two dogs Willow, who is 6 and Sophie who is 1. And no cuddling these guys, but they are very well loved, our two beta fish Leo ( A rescue from our local Leo's restaurant), and Sky! I enjoy being able to take the best possible care of people's pets with compassion and progressive medicine. I also enjoy spending time at home with my wife and playing video games. I love that my staff are all joy to work with. We keep each other laughing and I look forward to working with them daily!

Hello! I am April, the Practice Manager here at VMH, also Dr. Schwartz's wife. I have a degree in business, and a Bachelors of Science in psychology. I love what I do and love being able to call this my work home with all of these amazing humans! When I am not working, which is rare! I love relaxing with my 2 doggies, 4 kitties and my husband at home!

Hi! My name is Ashleigh and this is Opie. I started working here when I was still in high school back in 2006! I am now the Assistant Manager here at VMH! Outside of work I love doing all kinds of crafty things while listening to all kinds of music. I also enjoy smothering my furbabies with love!

Hi. My name is Misty. I have been an LVT for 11 years. I have worked with companion, farm, and exotic animals. In my free time I enjoy hiking with my dogs, kayaking, and gardening.

Hi, my name is Lindsay. I have been working in the veterinary field for over 20 years. I graduated from Baker College - Flint in 2014, and became an LVT. I enjoy spending the majority of my time with my family and pets. I like attending church, watching movies, camping, and painting.

Hi, my name is Lacey. I have been in the field since 2016 and a LVT since 2022. In my free time I love to care for the animals on the farm, garden, bake and spend time with husband and 2 beautiful kids.

Hi my name is Lydia! I am a college student in the Vet science field. My major is veterinary technician. Currently I am a Tech Asst. at our clinic. I enjoy things such as coaching cheer and t-ball, working on cars, and going to rodeos.

Hi, my name is Makayla. I’ve been working here since 2022! I enjoy being able to help people and their pets. When I’m not at work you can find me spending time with my family and pets!

Hi! My name is Shelby and I've been in the veterinary field for about 4 years. On my free time I like to spend time with my family, study the Bible and be outdoors. I am currently a tech asst and do-er of all things in the clinic!

Hi my name is Kayla. I’ve been with the clinic since June 2023 I am the Front Office Manager. I love to work and keep busy. In my free time I love to spend time with my daughter and shop for anything Halloween!

Hi! My name is Heather & while I am newer to the VMH receptionist team, my love for animals is not. I knew I wanted to work with animals by the age of 5 and I’m so happy to finally be doing so now! In my free time I am both a dog & cat mom, as well as a professional wrestler!

Hi! My name is Riley. I have always loved animals and I am so excited to be a part of the reception team here and start my journey in the veterinary field. Outside of work I am spending time with my two dogs, cat, and reptiles, as well as crocheting and working on home DIY projects.

Our team is comprised of a highly skilled and experienced veterinarian, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistants with many of years of experience combined. Each has their own four-legged companion(s) and strives to care for each patient as their own.
