🐾 DOG LICENSE UPDATE FOR OUR CLIENTS 🐾
As we head into the upcoming dog licensing season, we wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up about a change at Veterinary Medical Hospital. We will no longer be selling Genesee County dog licenses through our office. As our same-day patient volume has continued to grow, we’ve had to take a look at some of the additional administrative services handled by our front desk. Dog licensing requires separate paperwork, processing and recordkeeping through the county, and we’ve made the decision to step away from providing this service so our staff can keep their focus on patient care and helping clients in the hospital. ❤️🐾 Don’t worry—you can still get your dog’s license directly through Genesee County. 🏢 Genesee County Treasurer’s Office 324 S. Pasadena Ave. Flint, MI 48504 📞 810-732-1660 Licenses may also be obtained by mail through the Genesee County Treasurer’s Office. If your dog has previously been licensed with Genesee County, the county generally mails a pre-filled renewal form to you, so make sure they have your current address. You will still receive your pet’s rabies certificate from us when we administer the vaccine, which you can use when purchasing the license. This change only affects the actual sale of the county dog license—nothing changes regarding your pet’s veterinary care or rabies vaccination here at Veterinary Medical Hospital. ❤️ Thank you for understanding as we continue making changes that allow our team to spend more time where we’re needed most: taking care of your pets. 🐾
